About Me

My photo
kathy stauffer
After retiring from teaching,I became a member of our local Alpha Writer's group and started writing seriously. I enjoy creating stories and making decisions as to how to use words to create feelings and set moods. I also want to write stories that when the reader is done, he or she is still thinking about it... the why's, the possibility that he or she may be able to relate something in the book to his or her own life. My writing is a mix of suspense, psychological intrigue and inspiration--with a little bit of romance and humor. I have self-published four books: "We See In A Mirror Dimly," "The Secret Is," "All the Rivers Run Into the Sea," and "Thou Shalt Not." Each book was written with a different purpose in mind. It is a learning process for me, and for now, I'll continue with the writing and the living of each day while the chapters of my own life unfold. Erich From wrote, "The whole of life of the individual is nothing but the process of giving birth to himself; indeed we should be fully born when we die." ... hopefully I'm on my way to being "fully born."
